No, this is not going to break down the walls of cliche in comics for girls. It HAS been done before. But the story is still enjoyable none the less, and the art is pretty cute, too. I liked that Miyoul (the main character) was mean and unlikeable--I'm sick of stories about girls who have boys fall at their feet because they're so motherly and kind. Hopefully Miyoul will end up growing up by the end of the series, but until then she's something of a breath of fresh air. It's a cute and fun story, and I'd recommend it to anyone who's already a fan of the genre.
