The use of plant extracts for the synthesis of metal oxide nanoparticles (green synthesis) represents a promising alternative to conventional synthesis methods, whether physical or chemical, due to their environmental sustainability, low cost, low energy consumption, ease of production and environmental friendliness. In the present work, we have synthesized silver oxide and nickel oxide nanoparticles by exploiting the plant extract of the H. hirsuta plant as a reducing agent and stabilizer of silver and nickel ions for the creation of said nanoparticles.
