One of his best!

Imho, one of his best novels of intrigue, suspense, a bad man trying to change his path as a writer who finds himself in a cabin above the infamous Overlook Hotel. The characters are flawed but very real. I was riveted.

Fan from his beginning - this is one of my faves!

Dang, this was an awesome read. Has a few very cool references to some of my old faves (Shining; The Stand - will definitely read again down the line to see if I missed any others). A good, long satisfying adventure. Very hard to put down but I made myself cuz I didn't want to finish it too quickly. I'm 72 and retired so I could have read non-stop but I chose to saver it. Not enuf "o's" in COOL! I HOPE the master does a continuation of Alice's life!
