This is one of my favorite books - one I don't lend out. Mr. Kaysing gives many great ideas on how to enjoy life without spending a fortune. Whenever I can't think what to fix for supper, I remember his advice: Put a bit of oil in the skillet, add a chopped onion, and while it is sauteing, look around in the refrigerator for something to add to it. He llustrates how to build a simple cabin, how to start your own business, and how to "live off the land" if the need arises. And he's never boring on any subject.
