So How Much Has Changed?

Over a century ago coach Bill Reid fussed over his athletes just like many a contemporary coach with similar players and problems. Reid just plain had to beat Yale. His diary is so open, so confessional as to make for compelling reading, down to the intimacies with his wife. This is valuable document of cultural-social history that transcneds mere football.
