The study guide is meant to be used alongside the third edition of the "Big Book."Many people today are confused when reading the book _Alcoholics_Anonymous_ because they try to use 21st century understanding of a book that was painfully written and published in 1939 and which becaming a ground-breaking work which has contributed to conditions that we have today.
