Great for toddlers who use sign language

This book has been perfect for teaching the Bible to my two-year-old daughter, who has a speech disorder and is not talking yet; she understands most of what we say to her, but can't talk herself and communicates with sign language. It is organized into 40 stories, 20 from each Testament, and each story is summarized in one page along with an accompanying picture. The stories have prompts for involving your child with the story using sign language, body language, facial expressions and noises. Great for any toddler, but especially perfect for a toddler who uses sign language. I thought that the artwork was sweet and simple, and my daughter just loves to hold the book and look at it.

Great format for Bible time w/ youngsters

Major stories of the bible are layed out with a picture on one side and a simple version of the story on the other. There are 4 action items for each story, giving the listening child a way to participate. "Roar like a lion" etc. My 3 year old son loves that sort of thing. Would have given 5 stars, but the artwork is slightly boring, good, but not very exciting or cute for the target audience age. Still, a great devotional/nightly reading tool for introducing God's word to your child, or perhaps a group of children in kid's church.

Bible for Toddlers

My daughter has found this bible absolutely marvellous to read to her 10 month old daughter, Jessica. She says the stories are short and great to read herself. Just what a child wants.
