Timmy the cat just wants a friend. He has no siblings or neighbors, since he and his mom live alone in a meadow, and his mom is too sick to play with him. One day, Timmy sees a human Boy and realizes the Boy could be his friend. However, the Boy lives far beyond the border of the meadow, and Timmy's mom says Timmy will turn into a monster if he crosses that border.
