Great Devotional for any time-limit

This is a fantastic daily devotional for 5 minutes or for 45 minutes. If done once per day it takes a few weeks and the readings are brief but generally thought provoking. If you like to sit down and journal your thoughts, there is space provided each day. If you just want to get in the habit of reading God's word and meditating on it daily though you currently don't have much time, you can read through it fairly quickly and ponder it throughout the day. Passages from Proverbs, Job, Hebrews, Daniel and other books make this a slightly different flavor than Dave's first devotional (this is #2) which mainly focused on goign through one book of the bible. Responsibily and the desire to please and excite our Maker are common themes and this is great for anyone in a leadership role of any capacity.

A Standout among Daily Commentarys

The Second Book in the "Intimate Warrior" series- Dave urges us to see beyond our inward focus and at the world around us. One of the main focuses in this series is to get Leaders to spend time with God. This book is a resource, an excuse even, to spend time studying, praying, and thinking about where God has put us and what he might want us to do here. Although many passages are short, (Many taken from Dave's "Thought for the Day" daily email devotional that circulates around the world and has been going for more years than I can remember) They are designed to challenge us where we are on many CORE biblical principles that we may have been inadvertently or even intentionally neglecting.
