Rochelle Alers' "Beyond Business" is the 3rd book in the Silhouette Desire series The Blackstones of Virginia. Sheldon Blackstone is the father of adult sons, Ryan and Jeremy. However, Sheldon is not THAT old. He is a businessman thinking of retiring and turning the business of the horse farm over to his sons. However, to get the business up to modern times and computerized, Jeremy hires the lovely Renee Wilson, who has a secret of her own. When Sheldon meets Renee, the love that has been buried in his heart since the death of his wife and love of his life, that love becomes uncovered. Sheldon and Renee are brought together and their love for one another mingle and it has nothing to do with their business relationship. This is a wonderful love story of unselfish and true love between a man and a woman, who are willing to let love enter their hearts again. Love is alive. Ms. Alers really did Sheldon justice with this story as well as Renee, a younger woman, who was not portrayed as someone out to use Sheldon, but really loved him. Thanks Ms. Alers for this story.

Rochelle Alers concludes the Blackstone of Virginia series with the eldest Blackstone. Sheldon Blackstone never believed he could fall in love again after losing his first wife but Renee Wilson has effected his heart like no other woman that he could not believe in the little time that he had known her he had actually fell in love with her. Renee Wilson had left her home to restart her life but never did she expect to meet Sheldon and start a relationship but as things continue on between the two of them they find their attraction unbreakable but sparks and everything else fly before they are willing to come together which leads to a combustion of lust. Rochelle writes an exciting tell of a man's who is willing to risk everything to protect the women he has come to love.

In her third installment of The Blackstones of Virginia, Rochelle Alers introduces us to Renee Wilson. After finding out some devastating news about her current boyfriend, Renee, pregnant and heartbroken, just wants to get as far away from him and Louisville, Kentucky as she possibly can. So she accepts a job as an administrative assistant for Blackstone Farms. The breathtakingly handsome Sheldon Blackstone is at a loss for words when he lays eyes on Renee. Knowing full well he couldn't love her or any other woman the way he loved his deceased wife, Sheldon decides that they will become lovers instead. When Renee is threatened with the possibility of her ex-boyfriend finding out about their unborn child, Sheldon offers to protect her no matter the cost. Once again, Alers has graced her readers with a very poignant tale of romance. I was so captivated with the storyline and the romance between Sheldon and Renee, that I didn't put the book down until the last page was turned. Readers of this series will not want to see it end. As always, I look forward to reading books by this very talented author. Reviewed by Pamela Bolden of The RAWSISTAZ™ Reviewers
Business OR Pleasure?

The Blackstone family returns in this third and final installment. Both of Sheldon's sons have found love. Is it too late for the family patriarch? Renee Wilson is looking for a new beginning. A new place to call home. She fled Florida and the father of her unborn child - the very married father of her unborn child. Accepting the position as Sheldon's administrative assistant has afforded her new opportunities. She has everything she wants except the love and trust of a good man and a father for her child. Or has she found that in her new boss? Will their arrangement go beyond business? Rochelle Alers' 'Beyond Business' was a very quick and easy read. It was good revisiting the family and getting updates on Ryan and Jeremy. It was a good read, though I have to say Jeremy's story 'Very Private Duty' is my favorite of the three.
