One of my favorites

This book is utterly fabulous. It reminded me of the game Blasphemous the whole time with it's dark religious elements and medieval setting but it stands on it's own as a lovely piece of literature. If you're a fan of horror fantasy or medieval horror then this is a must read.

Do yourself a favor

Christopher Buehlman's Between Two Fires is an incredible tale that encapsulates everything I want in a dark fantasy story. So many vivid images repeat themselves in my brain, even a year after reading. If you're a fan of anything dark fantasy, like Berserk or the Dark souls series, you're in for a feast.

Life Changing

I have been chasing the high that this book blessed me with for a year. I have yet to feel the same way and if it was possible I’d like to have my memory of this book wiped so that I can experience the genius of Buehlmen with no expectations. Absolutely loved it!

Unbelievably well written

This book completely redefined the genre for me. I wish I could read it again for the first time, ten more times. Couldn’t put it down. Amazing use of imagery and character development.
