For anyone who doesn't know everything about marriage

As my wife and I have been reading this book together we have found a renewed sense of committment to one another and our marriage. The main focus of the authors is to discuss the importance and role of sexual intimacy in the marriage relationship, but the message is be more about communication between husband and wife and not so much a "how to" manual for sex. The book is a wonderful tool for newlyweds and oldlyweds alike who do not already enjoy honest open conversation about their intimacy. The authors handle a sensitive subjuct in a frank and respectful manner, allowing the readers to discuss and discover the details about what feels right and best for them.

This book is a must read for those married for years and newlyweds. The authors give their professional advice on how to strenghen your marriage through intimacy, and I don't know a man alive that isn't interested in that kind of advice.

This Book Was Long Overdue

I heard about this book on the news and was curious about all the hype. When I heard the authors on the radio, I decided to pick up a copy. There aren't many books that exceed my expectations, but this one did. What a great book to give to an engaged couple! I kept thinking how much my husband and I would have appreciated such a clear and honest discussion when we were starting out. My marriage is good, but this book has made it even better. I hope it is still available when my kids are grown.

A wonderful book

I had heard from several people about this book was and I admit to feeling a little intrigued. Although I think my marriage is quite good, I know that it can always get better. After reading the book, there was one thought that kept coming back to me: "I wish I had read this book before I got married!" The authors have done such an excellent job of discussing a sensitive topic in an appropriate manner--with the gospel taking the forefront.Since it had actual examples from real people and quotes from church leaders, I always felt that I was getting very good advice and information. Since intimacy is such a huge part of marriage, I recommend it to anyone who is getting married, or is already married. This book will definitely help.

Great insights for religious couples.

This is an incredible resource for Mormon couples who want to know more about the religious implications of their physical intimacy. This book provided honest and detailed information about subject matter that many couples find awkward to discuss with each other and too embarrassing to mention to their church officials. It's written in a way that makes sensitive information easy to understand without intimidating the reader. This is a much needed book that treats the subject matter with grace and respect. The information is presented tactfully, which encourages an open dialog between husband and wife. While the book is primarily for married couples who belong to the LDS church, it's insights and content can be vastly beneficial to all couples.
