Systematically Presents Sound Distinctions

You will find this book in many classrooms. And for good reason. It systematically and vividly presents sound distinctions. A good similar book is Sheep or Ship, by Ann Baker, also from Cambridge. - ESL Book Review

Good approach

Oconnor has done a great job. The first chapter "problems in pronounciation" is particularly great. As Oconnor said, although one will almost certainly not succeed in acquiring perfect English pronounciation, one should keep working towards perfection until one is quite sure that it is neither necessary nor profitable for him/herto continue
