Betsy books by Guilla Wolde

This series of books are very quick to read and my daughter loved them when she was growing up. They are written about everyday happenings that kids experience, like getting the chicken pox, going to nursery school for the first time, and so on. The author writes them in a realistic manner--Betsy can be a brat sometimes, but her parents are patient and teach her how to behave better. I'm planning to buy a set of these books for my grandchildren to read when they visit.
