SOME VERY GOOD NOSTALGIA

I REALLY ENJOYED THESE NEAT AND NOSTALGIC STORIES OF OLD TIME HOCKEY. BEING FROM CLEVELAND OHIO, HOCKEY FANS HERE HAD AN NHL TEAM FOR ONLY A FEW SEASONS IN THE LATE 1970'S AND HAVE MISSED OUT ON SO MUCH. I HAVE READ OTHER BOOKS AND SEEN VIDEOS OF SOME THESE YEARS BUT THIS BOOK MAKES THEM SEEM MORE REAL. BRIAN MCFARLANE DOES A VERY NICE JOB AND PICKS SOME GREAT STORIES FROM THE ORIGINAL SIX TEAMS IN THE NHL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FOR HOCKEY HISTORIANS AND FOR FANS THAT ARE CURIOUS ABOUT HOW THE GAME WAS PLAYED BACK IN THE DAYS BEFORE THE RED LINE, FACE MASKS, AND HELMETS.
