An exceptional book on an exceptional city

On any vacation, I try to buy a book which best reflects the experience I had visiting the city. During a vacation to Berlin a few years ago, after looking through a number of books, this was the one I bought. It's really an exceptional book. There are plenty of new, color photos of the major sights and many not so major; I would guess there are around 45 sights depicted in this book. The photos are all very good quality. Occasionally older photos are interspersed when a `now and then' comparison is helpful. Text is included in 3 languages (English, French and German) and is very informative (almost in a 'just the facts' sense). I have many travel books that were translated from other languages, where you can tell that the translation left a lot to be desired. Not so here; the writing is good.
