This book probably spoke to me most out of the Being A Girl series. Everyday I am trying to have more of a servant heart which is hard but I am working on it.
The sub-title says it all.

"And as all servants do, each of us desperately longs to hear the coveted phrase, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord.' (Matthew 25:21 NKJV). My prayer is that this book becomes a vital tool in helping each of us in our tour of duty so that we may one day join with all of heaven and enter into that very joy." Throughout the month of December, I used this book as an aid for my morning quiet time. Author Primicerio touches upon all aspects of life, and it was both challenging and encouraging to work my way through the topics. She uses personal stories to illustrate life lessons such as: Learning to Stoop (humility while serving), Busier Isn't Always Better (remaining true to God's purpose in life), and True Servants Wear Red (the importance of prayer). At the end of each chapter she asks questions that help the reader reflect, and thus remember, upon the lesson. She also issues a challenge for the week, and I appreciated the directness of her ideas and the challenge really sticks! Although it may seem that the primary audience for this book is teenage girls, it is filled with different life applications that are both relevant and inspiring for girls and women at any point in their spiritual journey. Armchair Interviews says: Great study for a group of girls (of any age)!

She did it again! In the second book in the Being a Girl series Shannon Kubiak Primicerio made me want to make a difference with my life! Shannon is always so honest in her books, and helps me understand what the Bible really means when it talks about things like loving and serving. I can't wait for her next book!
