A provocative book

I was occasionally stymied by the prose, but Mr. Cornell tells a vivid, passionate story. As historical Christian fiction, this is an engaging read. His descriptions combined with scripture and many other ancient texts illuminate the rich culture right down to the common man. I enjoyed this book.
