Byron and Carla did a great job in writing this book for people who may be asking is this person the one? Many questions are given you to ask yourself or discuss with your partner. An easy read that makes you think about why you are thinking this way about your partner. I definitely recommend this to anyone who is in this place with a seriously dating relationship. Reading this book feels like you are in conversation with Byron and Carla and that they know what you are feeling and asking yourself. They take you through personal feelings, outside pressures, inside pressures, etc. Marriage is a huge step in life, if not the biggest, and why not prepare yourself for it before it is already set in stone for you.

Great Book, Fun Read, Full of Insight

"Before Forever" what an appropriate title for this book. If you are a Christian who thinks that one day in the future (sooner or later) you might want to make that forever commitment and get married then this is a book you should read. It made me laugh until I cried and cry until I laughed. It made me ask myself new questions, and it made me surer of my answers to old ones. If you are in a serious dating relationship wondering if you should take the next steps, then I definitely recommend reading this with your partner; it can be a powerful tool in helping you to decide wether or not you know that you know.

I hope that somehow every couple that is seriously dating and asking the big questions about their relationship will stumble across this book. It is an excellent guide to helping them journey to the answers they are looking for. I love that in an era of self help books that are typically really cheesy and way too formulaic- this book is the exact opposite. It is funny- like laugh out loud funny. It is authentic. And it helps lead you somewhere- every great personal truth needs to be discovered- and this book will help you do so. Great psychology. Great relationship advice. Great self discoveries. Great theology. If you are in a serious dating relationship, you need this book. If you know someone in a serious dating relationship, give this book to them as a gift- they will be forever grateful. I will for sure keep this on my resource shelf.
