Bedtime in Yangmingshan: Stories for Restless Children

Bedtime in Yangmingshan is a collection of bedtime stories inspired by my experiences living at a nature camp on the island of Taiwan. Every evening ended with stories, and when we ran out of books I started to make up my own (usually on the spot). Those that were well received I recorded for posterity. The stories that lasted until the end of summer became this collection - a "survival of the fittest" vetting system by which toilet humor and dinosaurs invariably rose to the top.
