About the Author:
Derek] is an Electrical Engineer who graduated from Howard University in the '80s. I worked for numerous Fortune 500 companies, such as GE, Raytheon Data Systems, ITT Avionics, and RCA Missile and Surface Radar, to name a few.
I eventually started my own company when I was overlooked for an award that was generated from my work. I designed the test equipment for the card readers we all use today. I was part of a team that designed the computer radar system for tracking any objects coming over the hemisphere.
I was on the team that designed the transponders used in many of today's unmanned aerial and ground remote vehicles, i.e.
(drones, vehicles, airplanes).
