VIBRANT

If I had to pick only one word to describe BEBA AND THE CURIOUS CREATURE CATCHERS, it would have to be "vibrant," because author Lydia Griffin's text sings in the key of childhood zeal, and illustrator Stephanie Lostimolo's pages pulsate in hues of unrestrained imagination. Girls AND BOYS will love to repeatedly somersault into this book. Their hearts will race as they grow gigantic with BeBa, shrink teensy, teach curious creature catchers about diversity, and shout along with her, "To my home I go!"

My daughter LOVES this book

I hadn't fully realized just how infatuated my 2 1/2-year old daughter was with this delightful book until she quoted full pages -- verbatim -- to me at the dinner table last night. She seriously loves this book. And I don't blame her. The story is fresh, the message is clear, and the illustrations are colorful and engaging. Beba (pronounced "Beeba") is a worthy heroine I am proud to introduce to my daughter. I still have favorite parts despite having read the book perhaps one hundred times since we received it as a gift two months ago. We are looking forward to the author's next book! Great Book

I bought this book for my 3 kids as a Christmas gift last year - I thought it would be cute for a family read-aloud. The kids were so drawn in by the illustrations and fascinated by the imaginary creatures, that I'm not even sure they noticed the strong underlying moral message. As any parent knows, there's no better way to teach your kids than by doing it in a fun way that the kids will remember. Great family time.

Enchanting Story

This book has become my three year old daughters favorite book. There are many nights that we have to read it several times! I love the moral of the story and she loves all of the animals ecpecially Zilly the Zebroose. The illustrations are wonderful and really make the story come alive. We cannot wait to see what Bebe does next to help her friends in the Forest!
