great for basics

I borrowed this book from the library last week and my 18 month old has been requesting to read it at least 3 times a day! It's a quick, cute story with great rhyme scheme. Bear and kite, Black and white, Play and Fight, Loose and Tight, Wrong and Right, Day and Night. Sweet illustrations and easy concepts for young readers. Plus, a great summary page at the end with all the words, concepts and thumbnail pictures.

A beautiful opposites book

I bought this book for the illustration and because I needed a board book for my little one. I cherish it because, not only is it beautiful but it is one of the best opposites books going. The pictures are big enough and detailed enough for the kids to really "get" the opposite relationship being shown.
