Be a Frog, a Bird or a Tree: Rachel Carr's Creative Yoga Exercises for Children [Paperback] This description may be from another edition of this product.
Well ok so I am realllllly biased. I am one of the kids in this book. Ok so I'm not a kid any more (only at heart) I am 45 now and still jump into yoga classes on occasion but mostly teach tai chi and qi gong. Go figure. Hope alot of you enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed it back when I was a wee lad. Bob Linde

Being a mom of 2 boys I look back on this book with fond memories. The original copy lays on my coffee table within reach of my children as well as the neighbors children who love to imitate the images. Most of these images are me as a child of 8. My kids get a kick at seeing me in these fun yoga poses.

Be a Frog, a Bird or a Tree is an excellent introduction to Yoga. I had no background in Yoga but felt very comfortable using this book to introduce a Yoga program to fairly large groups of six and seven year olds. They were excited to see the progress they made in learning each new pose. It is a clearly explained and illustrated program that very easily adapts to teaching young children and they enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed teaching it.
