I enjoyed this book. I, too, was married to a sex addict. I could totally relate to Marlene's feelings. However, my experience was somewhat different. While my ex enjoyed looking at pornography and sometimes going to strip clubs, he was sexually abusive to me. At the time of my marriage, I didn't think I was abused because he did not physically beat me. I, like Marlene, was battered without bruises. Her story was very helpful to me in my recovery from an unhealthy relationship. Plus, she's also a Christian woman and writing this book was very courageous of her. A lot of times, the church shies away from issues pertaining to domestic violence. Sexual addictions in marriage are believed to be considered part of domestic violence. People who struggle with this kind of addiction and their partners need to read this book. GOd bless you, Marlene!
