a very deep history, very good

This is one of the best books I've found on the history and growth of the basque independence movement from it's very early years to the post-Franco era. Obviously readers wil need to consult more recent works for an update on what's happenned since its publication, but for those looking for a solid historical grounding to anchor their understanding of the situation, look no further.
