This book gives young players the motivation to learn and practice the necessary fundamentals of guard play.

Guard Play is a great book for anyone who wants to become a better basketball player and especially guards. I am reading this book in the summer before my freshman year of college in order to prepare myself for college workouts. If you are willing to follow the workouts suggested by the book and even increase them, this book will do you a great service

Informative will increase ones knowledge of the game.

As a personal friend of Steve Alford this will increase one`s knowledge of the game, focusing on guard play. Alford`s basketball wisdom is incredible as was his game. This is a must read for anyone who wants to learn more about basketball, especially becoming a better guard!
