Informative, but bland.

Informative, but bland...about what you would expect from a "pocket book" of this era. All the pictures are rather indistinct black and white photographs, and the diagrams are rather crude (but clear) drawings. The instructions are presented in a straight forward step-by-step manner, but it takes some studying to link them with the illustration. The small format of the book also makes it difficult to use as a reference while working on the projects presented. I will be looking for a larger format book with color illustrations to use as an "on-the-job" instruction manual.
