Great when used in conjuction with the audio devices

This is probably one of the most comprehensive Italian lesson books on the market. Used in conjunction with the aduio (either tapes or cds) it's wonderful. But alone, it leaves a little something to be desired. If you have at least a month to listen and learn then this is the book for you. Any less time, and you won't really be getting your money's worth.
