Wonderful recipes!

Love this book! I can't wait to try some more recipes out of this. So far I've only made 3, but they all turned out yummy! Clear instructions, helpful tips, accessible ingredients. I love that there is so much variety in here. Some of the recipes might be similar, but it gives you lots of options. You might be looking to make a toffee brownie; here you'll find about 4 different versions, so you are guaranteed to find a match for the ingredients, pan size and preparation time you have at hand. Highly recommended!

Lots of great ideas!

I recieved this book as a gift along with the Cookies book by the same author. I have to say, these books are great! lots of great ideas and really easy to follow recipes... there are sections for chocolate lovers, nut lovers, etc and even a section called "good for you" that has recipes that are healthier! Also has a section for cake mix users which is great when you are in a pinch! Definately a keeper!

Bars and Squares

This book has the best recipes for cookies and bars that I have found. I do a lot of baking for different groups in our church. Every recipe I have used I have had great reviews from the groups. The instructions are very good. Mary Ann from Pensacola Fl.

Bars & Squares and yummies galore

I first saw this book at the local public library. It was on hold for another patron, but the librarian let me flip through it quickly. I saw so many recipes I wanted to try that it was scary. Some of the recipes seem repetitive, but you get so many ideas and variations that it's worth the odd duplicate. I've made several of them for the police officers I work with (and they are a picky bunch) and never had any leftover. The directions are clear & concise, the ingredients are generally common (I hate recipes that involve scouring the city for esoteric ingredients!), and the bars I've tried have been delicious. What more can an enthusiastic baker ask for?
