Living Well May Be the Best Revenge But Doing it on the Cheap is Even Better

Some years ago I saw Ms Korzen's one woman show so I knew I was in for a treat when I picked up Bargain Junkie. The book didn't disappoint. There were chuckles on every page and even a guffaw now and then and best of all it is timely as well as funny. Who doesn't want to live well yet spend little especially in these tough times? With a little imagination and a little more "chutzpah" Ms Kozen shows us that we can find the fun side of frugality. What a great stocking stuffer for your favorite bargainistas.

Shopper's Saving Time

If you're smart enough to know that sex is a passing sensation but getting two for the price of one is a lasting pleasure, this is a book you'll love. Within its entertaining pages you'll find all kinds of creative tips for getting valuable things for nothing or next to nothing. Who knew, for example, that there are places that sell vintage clothing for four bucks a pound! Or that you can get comped at a Las Vegas hotel even if you're not a high roller? A single caveat: if you're someone who will not question the dealer when he asks you to pay the sticker price for a new car, please see a therapist before buying this book. On the other hand, if the words "I can get it for you wholesale" bring a smile to your face and a tingling to your skin, Bargain Junkie was written for you.

Ms. Korzen is a funny lady and a smart one. Her book is not only useful but also a comic treat. And who among us does not want to look chic and fabulous without paying a lot for such a lucky break!?
