Eh.

Honestly, I was hoping for more. 100 pages in and I just can’t keep going. The intimate scenes are probably something some people are into, but even though the author really tried to paint the image of Gideon beautifully, the way he spoke was a huge turnoff and I just pictured him as a creep. Lol. My loss.

Great Read.. Must keep going with the following books in series

This book took a little longer for me to get into than other books of it's kind (like Fifty Shades of Grey). However, it was totally worth it to keep reading. I fell in love with Gideon Cross from the git go. Eva took a little longer to like, but soon I grew to love her. For me, the beginning of the book Eva was everywhere with her thoughts and that's what made it hard for me to read. Once the dialogue between the Gideon and Eva picked up, I couldn't put the book down. Their story is definitely one you want to keep reading to find out about their past. I couldn't wait to continue the series after this first novel..

This book was a cheap knock off of 50 Shades of Grey. There was no plot resolution, and what little plot was managed to be established had giant holes in it. The only reason I finished this book was because I invested too much time in it to just throw it aside. It did make good kindling though.
