The book is a treasure showing many, many photographs of this wonderful horse. It gives great insight as to the challenges he faced and his life prior to his accident.

A heart-warming story

Barbaro was an excellent book and one that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. The authors did a wonderful job in relating the facts and the background about the horse that the world fell in love with. I would recommend it highly not only to all horse lovers, but to everyone who followed the amazing, and unfortunately tragic, career of Barbaro. It is book that you will want to share with your friends and family.

Love for Barbaro

is what inspired me to purchase this book. I am not disappointed, as the book depicts the love sent to this horse from all over the country. The overwhelming affection for this horse is the focal point of the book. If you followed Barbaro's horrible accident, and the months of devoted dedication to saving his life, then this book will be a wonderful keepsake for you.

A Book that will capture your Heart!

I've read the book from cover to cover. I felted even closer to Barbaro after learning a lot of Information about him. Just learning about his Family Tree, and being from a Family of Winners. Just reading about the People behind Barbaro, Mr. Matz his trainer (a man with a Heart of gold), and Mr. Edger Prado his Jockey (a man who has compassion for barbaro after he got heart). Dr. Richardson, a man who did his best for Barbaro. And of course the Jackson's The Two people who Loved Barbaro the most who did everything they can to help him, nothing but the best. I feel that Tom Philbin + Pamala Brodowsky has written a Fantastic Book with Lots of Information This is a 10 STAR Book in my Eyes! Chrispy

Was warmer than I even expected

I am even more satisfied with the purchase of this book then I ever expected. The authors obviously show care and concern for this creature and it shows in the warmth of the writing. It is an uplifting story how so many people rallied around this animal for no other reason than pure love. If you are an animal lover, horse racing enthusiast or part of the human race you will be moved by this book. A great read
