The Journey Continues

Balaam's Error. The title alone piqued my interest, and this story is a worthy continuation of the ancient spiritual conflict introduced by Michael Webb in The Master's Quilt. With careful attention to detail, Webb weaves strands of character and plot that span generations and millenia. Part supernatural thriller, part historical fiction, Balaam's Error combines two great genres. Read The Master's Quilt first, then dive deeper into Balaam's Error.

The author lays a wonderful story line subliminally teaching Bible truths, presenting historical facts, layered with knowledge of Bible lands and culture. Throw in a little bit of romance, a lot of reality, and a serious dose from the spiritual realm; voila you have a great book that I couldn't put down. This book is part of a trilogy of books by Michael Webb that is relevant to our time, the end-times. I search for the next book and purchased it on the Internet devouring it in days. I then spent several years tracking the author down to get a hold of the third book now in manuscript form. I pray and firmly believe GOD will raise up another publisher so this trilogy and so many other writings that Michael has been giftedly blessed with will get into the hands of the masses. Why? Because Christians and non-Christians need to be provoked or shocked into the reality that JESUS, is coming again..... Will you and I be waiting, watching, and working for HIS eminent return? The scary thing about this trilogy is that even though it's a historical fiction it seriously could have happened and may have happened this way.... GOD says in the last days young mean will dream dreams and we will have warning signs of the final season before the end. So be ready!

Fascinating

Michael Webb successfully brings the reality of spiritual warfare into sharp focus within the framework of modern living. It has all the elements of the first book, mystery, politics, intrigue, suspense and romance. .......anxiously waiting for book 3.

Captivating

A great sequence to book 1 in the series. But since it is suppose to be a trilogy: where is book 3? Was it ever published or even written?

Wonderful look at the reality of spiritual warfare.

Balaam's Error is a wonderful look at the realitiesof spiritual warfare reaching back accross the centuries. Loved the connections Webb made from the battle during Christ's life to our own times. Highly recommend this book. Haven't been able to locate the third book in the series, but am very interested in it.
