Mommy, Daddy, Cassie, and Baby Louie welcome Marley, their new Labrador pup, into their family. But Marley doesn't stay a tiny puppy for long. He grows and grows, and the bigger Marley gets, the bigger trouble he gets into. Big, bad-boy trouble. Whether it's chewing Mommy's reading glasses or swallowing Daddy's paycheck, Marley is a dog like no other. He tries to be a good dog, honest he does, but everything he tries ends up bad. Then one day Marley goes too far. Will this family have to find a new home for their big, crazy, pure-hearted dog? Inspired by John Grogan's bestselling memoir, Marley & Me , this heartwarming story shows that loving someone, flaws and all, can reap huge rewards.
It is a cute book that had my kids rolling.("Me go again") It is a sweet puppy story. If you have a new puppy or have gone through the raising of a new puppy the children will really appreciate it. Mine are 7,6, 4 and a 1/2. They all laughed out loud. (Go figure!)

What a wonderful children's version of John Grogan's heartwarming story of his crazy yellow lab. The illustrations really fit the story to a T.
Adorable, Funny... A Must for Dog Lovers and their Children!

I read "Marley and Me" and absolutely loved it, so I was thrilled when I saw this children's book, "Bad Dog, Marley". I read it in the store and laughed out loud at the story and the hilarious illustrations! I showed my husband, and he loved it too. The illustrations are adorable and children will love looking at Marley climbing onto the counters to get at cake, drinking out of the toilet, digging through the wall to hid from the storm, or saving Baby Louie by picking him up by his diaper. The story line is similar to "Marley and Me" in that it is about a sweet, bumbling dog who tries to do well, but whose enthusiasm and energy end up getting him in trouble. In the end, Marley saves the day and the family comes to appreciate the special gift they have -- even if he did eat Dad's paycheck and destroy the couch. This is going right on my child's bookshelf!
Bad Dog, Marley is a GOOD BOOK!

This is a fun book about a family's unconditional love for a dog whose behavior is less than perfect. Marley gets himself into all kinds of naughty situations. But in the end, he wins over the family's heart, making it worth all the trouble he causes. I highly recommend this book. Kids will identify with a dog who just can't seem to get it right. I love this book!!

My wife and I both laughed and cried at "Marley & Me," and were delighted when we found this young kids book featuring the immortal Marley. Our 16 month old daughter loves it. Highly recommended!
