great start to a series !!!

seems to follow scriptures very close but holds your interest.

Entertainment that Challenges the mind

It is interesting the number of negative reviews. The book is pure entertainment and the next bend in the story. I feel the 4 books have been leading the readers to a final confrontation of Good verses Evil. Murphy is gifted in his way and yet, is forced to confront the forces of evil with his faith. He is a reflection of us in that we do not know the full measure of faith we possess until we are confronted with our own challenges. Looking forward to the next release!

Babylon Rising Series

I am quite surprise by the many negative reviews of this series. I just completed the fourth book and have found the series highly enjoyable. Reviewers discount the storyline as unplausable. Well, no kidding. This is a fiction series written for entertainment. Perhaps, those reviewers are the type of people who will criticize every little detail in an action movie. Get over it and enjoy the story. I find the series very entertaining, filled with action and adventure and sprinkled with accurate biblical doctrine. Sure, it's frustrating to see Dr. Murphy's archaeological "prizes" being snatched from his grasp time and time again but this is the direction the authors chose to go. I find no "filler" pages boring nor uninspired. I applaud the series and look forward to future installments. Bravo for a job well done!

A cross between Left Behind and Indiana Jones!

I do not understand the negative comments from some of the reviewers. One said it wasn't "Left Behind"...maybe that's because IT"S A DIFFERENT STORY! This book is about a Biblical archeologist and his quest to prove the Bible is real by finding artifacts mentioned in the Bible. It also shows how some people will do anything to prove the Bible is not real. Babylon Rising is a cross between Left Behind and Indiana Jones. I enjoyed it.

I Hated The Left Behind Series But I Loved This:

I absolutely loved this book. It was a real page turner!! I really hated the left behind series (boring) and I thought this was very intreaging. The books price is a little high though, but is well worth every panny. I liked the new use of characters, combined with thier sence of reality concerning thier personal challenges. I am not going to discuss the book because It might ruin the read for you. So if you love mystery, suspense, and christian lititure please buy this. Its worth it.

exciting and fascinating thriller

A biblical archeologist searches for artifacts that are found in the bible to prove that the events written about actually took place. He is no Indiana Jones but Professor Michael Murphy has had enough hair-raising adventures to rival that of the movie icon. Right now he is searching for the Brazen Serpent ordered destroyed by King Nebuchadnezzar because people worshipped the false idol and not the true God.Also interested in retrieving the Brazian Serpent is a mysterious, powerful and wealthy cabal known as the Seven. They control a multi-billionaire, who specializes in communications and electronics. They have entrusted their henchman Talon to retrieve the artifact once Murphy finds the three pieces but the Seven's lackey discovers that his opponent is formidable and the unspoken war they are engaged in will become very personal on both sides quite soon.Readers will find BABYLON RISING an exciting and fascinating thriller based on events and objects mentioned in the Bible. Tim LaHaye tantalizes his audience with The Seven, an evil group who wants to convert the planet into a one world religion that they can control. To do so, the Seven are trying to turn mankind against evangelical Christians who they paint as dangerous fanatics. The protagonist of this story is a loveable, sincere and honest person who will hopefully star in future adventures as this novel is a winner that deserves sequels.Harriet Klausner
