Great Little Book

Just recently becoming a parent (to twins), I saw the little book and skimmed through it and thought it would be a good read and I was right. Just as the title reads, it is just TIPS, and should not be looked at as a reference manual. It had some really good tips that as a first time parent, I appreciate. There is just so much information out there that it was nice to read a book that has a clear, simple and light-hearted tone and very helpful at the same time. Pick up the book if you have a chance, even at your local library. It's entertaining and lets face it, if you are anywhere near as busy as I am with my children, this size book is all you will really have time to read anyway. Also, I noticed that they have a new little book for each stage of your child's development, so I will be picking those up as well.

A Gift For Every New Mom

I bought this book when my twins were born and loved it. I bought all the subsequent volumes, too. I now give as gifts to new moms. It may not be an "in-depth" book... there is only one sentence per page, but who has time to read a 200-page book with a newborn anyway? This is simple, quick tips that you can put to use immediately.

This little book of tips is fulll of tips that just plain make sense. I was a nanny for many years before I was a Mommy and I really wish that I had had this book as a resource for those years. It is full of "Duh, why didn't I think of that" type tips. I really love this little book and plan to give it to all my new Mommy friends!
