Highly Entertaining

This book of three short stories was very entertaining. It was perfect to read one story after I got home from work before I went to bed. Each started out with a baby being left someplace in a basket for people to find (or in the case of the 2nd story to not find). Things just took off from there, all with happy endings. If you want a simple mindless read, this book is for you....Happy reading

Three stories from three of today's best authors in Historical Romance! I adored each and everyone one of them. The first story, by Constance Hall, was an infant abandoned by a suspicious man. The finder, Lady Colleen Davenport, was penniless, but happy to raise the child. Then a man from her past appeared. The second story, by Candace McCarthy, was of an Indian who found an infant hiden in the forest. The mother had been trying to lead the Indian AWAY from her child, but did not succeed. He takes the mother and child to his villiage where she learns how to live within the tribe. The third story, by Jean Wilson, is a gambler raising her two nephews. A mountain girl leaves her infant with the two boys, during school recess, claiming the child was the gambler's father. Then she disappeared. The boys, their teacher, and the gambler must sort out the mess. Perfect stories for rainy nights or a warm soak in the tub.
