Baby Bunch is a great series. All my kids loved them!

Baby Giggles: A Story about Playtime (Baby Bunch Series)"Here are some very special friends that we'd like you all to know. The Baby Bunch is here to help you learn and think and grow"...the beginning of all the the Baby Bunch books. A very inviting and engaging opening. All my kids as well as my neices loved these tall, but short board books about a baby and their stuffed animal toy. My 9 year old, still, on occasion likes to have then read to him because he has such fond memories of them through the years. All the books star a particular child and a particular aspect of their day. An interesting feature is that there are no parents involved. The main character baby takes care of the stuffed animal. It's written in prose with a rhyme, which helps make the stories endearing and fun to both read out-loud and to hear. This particular story was about Baby Giggles and Baby Kitty. They go to the park and swing, go down the slide, kick a red ball, play in the sandbox, ride on the ponies, play hide-and-seek and then go home. Pretty basic story line, but great for a toddler, especially with the rhyme and great illustrations. Most of our copies are now well loved and a bit worn. I've wiped them down and even repaired one or two. But we'll keep them and pass them on when the time comes. The others in the series are: Baby Dimples: A Story about Animals, Baby Giggles: A Story about Playtime, Baby Bubbles: A Story about Bathtime; Baby Cuddles, A Story about Friendship and Baby Pink: A Story about Color. They are out of print now, so sadly only used copies are available. Grab one while you can!
