My Body Book

Cute book. My son loves to look at himself in the mirrors on every page. Also the pages aren't too wordy for a kid to sit and listen to.

wonderful

I have to give this book five stars because it really helps my daughter identify with different parts of her body. she loves the colors as well as looking into the mirror. I would definitely recommend this book!!!!

My body...

Julie Aigner-Clark, a lover of the arts, created the Baby Einstein products as a means of introducing children to music, language, art, and nature in a fun way to stimulate their creativity early in life. In BABY DA VINCI: My Body are vivid and bright illustrations detailing the various parts of the body along with rhyming lines identifying them and what they do. The cute part of the book is that every other page has a cute mirror in which children can look at themselves and point out the areas being mentioned on their body. In addition, the book is full of other learning tools for older children such as colors, shapes, and items most young children are capable of identifying such as trees, flowers, birds, and our main characters, various common animals. The illustrations of Nadeem Zaidi match this book perfectly and it's a wonderful addition for younger children learning about their bodies. While I do really enjoy most of the Baby Einstein series of videos, books, and other educational items, most of them appear to be aged inappropriately. This one is no exception. I can't see a 9 month old as the beginning range for this book, but instead a child who is just learning to talk and identify with things. Older children in the 2 year-old range may enjoy this book a bit more and get the full benefits of it. Reviewed by Tee C. Royal of The RAWSISTAZ™ Reviewers
