This book wasn't quite what I expected from the book description. Carson is not a shallow playboy, he has good reasons for avoiding fatherhood, and Lisa is not at all manipulative, just sure about how important a family is to her. Not the greatest literature ever written, but a fine, solid, enjoyable Silhouette Desire romance.
