For BUFF "buffs" or Cold Warriors wanting a reminder of the 1980s

I liked this book about the B-52 Stratofortress, but I could recognize its shortcoming by flipping into a few pages. It does deliver on its title - Aging BUFFs and youthful crews - by honing in on the 1980s era of Stratofortress flying. What that means: a lot of coverage of G and H models (only ones left flying at the time) and bases like Mather AFB (California). While I'm okay with that, there wasn't much on the previous models (A through F) or the whole scope of the B-52 program. That's to be expected with an Osprey book - limited scope but in-depth coverage. This is a must for BUFF collectors, but if you're looking for an all-encompassing B-52 book, this is not it.
