Goldsmith, who provides essential principles to enable you to cope with the personal, community, national, and international problems that so easily beset us all. Special emphasis is placed on attaining a consciousness of spiritual power that frees from fears that engulf the whole world. This text also shows how to apply the discipline of The Infinite Way, another Goldsmith classic, by discovering the healing presence of the Holy Spirit. It was this book that I was required to read when going through the Divine Science Practitioner Training Program. Goldsmith's ideas helped me to open up new channels of spirituality and to embrace the mystic consciousness that lay just outside of my usual course of events. Since I have begun reading Mr. Goldsmith's works, I find I am not only underlining a lot- but re-reading and re-reading....Mr. Goldsmith has a clear simple writing style that I appreciate. It's nice to have a hardback version of something you know you will contemplate again and again. This has been a summer of reading Goldsmith for me. It's been helpful and meaningful.

I've read Goldsmith for years and he has had a profound influence on my life. Yet this book opened doors in my life to new levels of communion with God the moment I picked it up. This book is a treasure, and if you are drawn to the mystical life, to contemplation with God, to living heaven on earth, to experiencing miracles - read it. One of Joel Goldsmith's Best!

Sunday, June 10, 2001, Dr. O. C. Smith, Founder and Spiritual Director of the 5000 member City of Angels Church of Religious Science, had this book in his hand. As one of his students, I immediately went to the bookstore after the service and bought this book although I already own numerous books by the author. After only reading a few short paragraphs I knew that I had been Divinely Guided to read "Awakening Mystical Consciousness." Goldsmith is very clear and teaches the "way" to begin to discover and unfold the consciousness of the mystic in all of us. He takes the reader through the steps to a change in consciousness and begins his lesson in the "Word" versus the Truth, which so many in the metaphysical community struggle with. This book can be read within a few short hours, but the study of it may take years.
