Obsessive detail on a classic flying machine

I bought this book from a bargain bin back in 1987, and it always held a special place on my bookshelf. I foolishly gave it away at some point in recent years, and finally broke down and bought it again. The book is well worth the asking price for the foldout cutaway views and large-scale paint scheme examples alone. I feel like I could fly the thing now. I am sorely tempted to pick up the companion book on the Spitfire, too.
