Grains must be preserved as much as possible during storage, given the occurrence of chemical, biochemical, physical and microbiological alterations. To this end, this work combines automation with knowledge of agricultural product storage by building a prototype metal silo coupled to a fan, with the aim of aerating and preserving grains. In this work, the reader will obtain all the support they need to reproduce a system similar to the one adopted in the study and understand strategies that are intrinsic to the grain conservation process.
