Don't buy with Frommers

This guide seems to be decent enough (we haven't gone on our trip yet), but I already had a Frommers and wanted to get another point of view and found that this book is identical to Frommers in many sections, (the 'where to stay" is identical, because I usually figure that out first when planning a trip, I may discover other sections later). There is a banner on the cover regarding a contribution from Frommers, but that doesn't stand out when buying on line. Bottom line is: Buy either this book or Frommers, but not both.

Very informative

I bought this book to help me navigate preparations for the trip I'm taking to Australia in the fall. This book contains a wealth of information regarding getting to the various parts of Australia, what travel documents you need to enter the country, and numerous links to websites for more detailed information. The book is divided into sections by state. Each state section has a good deal of information about the area, including places to stay and to eat, and things to do or see. I'm very glad I bought this book, because having read it, I feel more prepared for my upcoming trip.

Very Helpful

This is a simple, to the point book for those who want to travel to Australia, not relocate there. It arrived in good condition in a timely manner.
