Philadelphia's homicide depart is in search of a new writer. Someone that has the talent to transform gritty detailed official documents into something the public can read. Audra, a broke novelist, needs a job. Even though she knows it will be a bad idea working for cops, Audra accepts the position with the unit. The thing is, Audra's hot and cold, right and wrong, sensual and reserved, selfish and selfless. Audra is the type of woman that has a bit of chaos in her life. She doesn't do well with structure or rules and regulations. Lucky for her, the writer has six roommates that have her back. Sure, her living situation makes life one big party most of the time, but it's Audra, she loves to party. The detectives are not ready for the storm, that is Audra, who rolls into their precinct come Monday afternoon. Forming relationships with the detectives is not easy for the writer; which comes as no surprise. What is a shock? When the officer who used to glare upon her with hatred starts gazing at her with lust filled eyes. Can something come out of a relationship built off of hatred? Or is Audra destined to wander the world bringing about destruction in her wake?
