Great Story!!!

After pining after her "boss" for months, an unexpected visit by his mother throws these characters into a "pretend" relationship. Heather is thrilled, of course. Theo however, is not the long-relationship type but enjoys having her around so he's willing to compromise and offers to continue their live-in relationship. Since Heather is in love with him and doesn't want to wait around just to get chucked out, she refuses his offer and moves out. With the help of her tell-it-like-it-is best friend Beth she moves on knowing she will always love Theo. Just as she begins to come out of her shell--she runs into the GTB aka Theo. Now it's his turn to pine after the "gold-digger". I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. The author successfully pens a common plot in a realistic & exciting way that keeps you turning pages when you should be working/sleeping.

A Cute Story

I absolutely adored this book Heather the bubbly but not dumb blonde who sailed or rather fainted her way into Theo's heart. I loved this characters because both had flaws but the author did not make them glaringly obvious. If anything Theo's arrogance was more funny then annoying and Heather well she was just a sweetie.

A sweet yet passionate romance, unique & memorable.

I absolutely loved these characters, and the writing style of author Cathy Williams, who imbued a wonderful sense of humor into each page of this wonderful romance. Lead characters: arrogant & clueless alpha, Theo, and the low self esteemed, sweet & funny Heather, who wrapped herself around Theo's clueless heart from the beginning, to his total confusion. It was so funny to read how he couldn't understand why on earth he wanted to get to know Heather better, after she entered into his life by inconveniently fainting outside his office during a very busy late nights work. Theo was quite irritated to feel duty-bound to help her come around and get back on her feet, but as he got ready to rush her out of his office, he somehow found excuses to keep her in his company for most of the evening. Heather was not as she seemed at first, and Theo made incorrect arrogant assumptions about her, which he soon found out were incorrect. As the story progresses, Theo finds reasons to keep her close to him by hiring her for an in-home position, but he is *so clueless* that he doesn't figure out he is in love with her for many, many months. Aside from dropping an anvil on his head, it just takes time...but the author makes this journey of enlightenment a wonderful read, as we watch Heather finally push aside her hang-ups and find her confidence, winning her man in the end. There is plenty of passion, and many moments that will bring a smile to your face, and maybe even make you laugh out loud. I highly recommend this sweet, funny & unique romance. It's terrific!

-- almost perfect ; )

back cover: He likes her frumpiness-but what about her feistiness? Theo Miquel doesn`t have time for real relationships-his work is his life. He`s happy to date incredibly slim, beautiful women, but once they get ideas about romance that`s his cue to end it-politely. Heather is a little different from the wealthy Greek`s usual prey: frumpy, far too talkative and his office cleaner. On the surface she lacks the polish he`s used to. But there`s something sparky and passionate about her. Roll that in with her low status, and Theo can see that she`d be perfect for an affair. At his beck and call until he get`s tired of her... But Heather isn`t about to stay at her boss`s bidding! my opinion: Heather was lovable heroine and Theo alpha hero...I liked about Theos chauvinism...it was quite funny ; )
