From 7am to 12 midnight. He had no time for his family. They had to beg for every dime and minute he gave them. Frances was the youngest and her mothers favorite child. She never had to beg her mother for anything. The thousands and thousands of dollars her mother secretly gave her each month was not enough for her to live on. MORE. She had to have MORE. Frances was a cruel and abusive mother. Son, Marc became a killer and son Larry, an artist spent years in mental hospitals. Lavinia, the daughter who loved ballet seems to have escaped her mothers madness. For Frances to live the life she wanted her dad HAD TO DIE. She had Marc kill him July 23, 1978. He shot his grandfather in the back twice. This case spawned 2 books, 2 mini series and a Court TV documentary. Crazy NPD Frances became famous. This J. Coleman book is well written. BUT, very long. TOO LONG really (624 pages). It has 30 plus pictures. It weighs 1.4 lbs and your arms will tingle with fatigue after holding it for a while. UPDATE: Marc spent 12 yrs in prison. Frances spent 13yrs in prison She died at age 65 -- 4/1/04. Larry and Lavinia are believed to be living in California and Marc in Utah. They do not see each other.
