From the award-winning author of A Year on Ladybug Farm comes the continuing story of three women who learn what it takes to turn a house into a home. A year after taking the chance of a lifetime, Cici, Lindsay, and Bridget are still trying to make a home for themselves on the newly-renovated Ladybug Farm. Life in the Shenandoah Valley is picturesque, but filled with unexpected trials? such as the introduction of two young people into the ordered life the women have tried to build for themselves. As the walls of the old house reveal their secrets and the lives of those who have gone before begin to unfold, the cobbled-together household starts to disintegrate into chaos. And when one of their members is threatened by a real crisis, they must all come together to fight for the roots they?ve laid down, the hopes they share, and the family they?ve become.
Chosen family is where strong love blooms and we do have an invisible string connecting us to where

Loved seeing the growth of Lori, Noah and Lindsey. The treasures they keep finding even after tragedies all beautifully woven together. Warning you may need some tissues towards the end. I wish the time hops had more substance to them. The central theme of live blossoms amongst your chosen family is highlighted throughout the book.

I have read both the 'Ladybug Farm' books and both are wonderful !! Something like Ladybug Farm is something I believe a hugh number of us would love to be a part of. I have already re-read 'A Year on Lady Bug Farm' and will soon do the same with 'At Home on Lady Bug Farm' You can bet it won't be the last time either...

Having read "A Year on Ladybug Farm" and loved it, I was delighted to read the sequel - it's just as good (which doesn't always happen, unfortunately). I'd recommend both books to anyone who enjoys a good read and marvelous characters. Hope there will be another Ladybug book soon.
GREAT SEQUEL!!!

This is crisp, engaging, well-paced storytelling that drew me in, made me laugh out loud, and had me rooting for every character--two or four-legged--as they collectively faced their challenges. As Lindsey, Cici, and Bridget open their hearts to Lady Bug Farm, working feverishly to restore its grandeur, Lady Bug Farm yields up a fascinating history that eventually unites them all. At Home on Lady Bug Farm would make a fabulous movie. Hollywood, are you listening....?
perfect reading.

Perfect reading. It is enjoyable by itself but by reading the first book you get into the reason these are doing what they are doing. I just hope this is not the end and there will be more about them from Ms, Ball. Loved both of them.
